At St. Remy Plantation, your every whim during your Caribbean holiday will be catered to with a full staff is at your disposal. Sit back and relax. At St. Remy, you have the opportunity to enjoy a taste of old plantation life. St. Remy is a restored estate house which is about 150 years old. The house is situated high in the hills in a small estate. The gardens surrounding the house are fully landscaped and are an excellent example of a truly lush and colourful Caribbean garden and tended with care by the resident gardener/watchman, George.
This Caribbean villa is a good example of Caribbean architecture from the past centuries and has the typical scrubbed wooden floors and a verandah, which encircles the house on three sides. There are 2 double bedrooms with a Queen-size bed in each bedroom, one bathroom and one shower room. A sitting/dining room, furnished in the old fashioned style proper to the house, has a music centre and a TV with a video and a video library - there is no TV reception in the area.
There is a small guest cottage with two single beds, which on application may be available for rental.
The pool is spectacularly situated on the hillside in its own sun deck. During your stay at St. Remy one complimentary visit per person to the Diamond Mineral Baths is offered to all guests.

Soufriere is the third town of St. Lucia. It is a two-hour drive from Castries/George Charles Airport and an hours drive from Hewanorra International Airport. The drive-in volcano, the health-giving mineral baths, and the scenic Pitons are all situated in the Soufriere area. Anse Chastanet, a nearby beach, is renowned for its excellent snorkelling.
There are separate quarters for resident watchman/gardener. Housekeeper/cook 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The housekeeper can stay and cook and serve dinner if requested - guests are expected to pay for this additional service.
No children under 12 years of age.
Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.
