Just Villas Direct - See the sights of Rome

No holiday in Italy is complete without seeing the sights of Rome. One of the best ways of doing this is by taking a tour. Every day of the year a good tour lasting about 3 hours leaves from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses’ Fountain, heading to Piazza della Repubblica, previously known as “dell’Esedra” as its central area also called Esedra of the Diocletian Baths is hidden now by the Fountain of Naiadi. The tour will continue towards Via Sistina, with it’s many restaurants including La Tavernetta, owned and run by Claudio Pepi (a double of the late Luciano Pavarotti), where you will leave the bus to start your walking tour through the ages, starting from the Spanish Steps and reaching Piazza di Spagna, with the famous fountain “la Barcaccia” designed by Pietro Bernini. Then the guided tour will lead you to the Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel, giving you the opportunity to throw a coin into the Fountain, which legend guarantees you will return. The next stop is the fantastic Pantheon (meaning "Temple of all the Gods"), a building in Rome which was originally built by Agrippa as a temple to the seven deities of the seven planets in the state religion of Ancient Rome. It is the best preserved of all Roman buildings, and perhaps the best preserved building of its age. At the end of the tour we will finally reach the gorgeous Piazza Navona, built on the ruins of the Domitian’s Circus adorned by the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, masterpiece of Gian Lorenzo Bernini constructed in 1651. Piazza Navrona offers the opportunity to purchase painting from currently unknown artists. This tour is considered a must for all visitors on a holiday in Italy.
